Disconnecting
You have disconnected a company file from Elie, or you are looking at how to.
What happens now
Elie no longer has access to that company file. Its authorization has been revoked, and the Application cannot retrieve any further reports from it. Nothing in QuickBooks Online was changed — Elie’s access was read-only for its entire lifetime, so disconnecting removes a permission and nothing else.
Reports retrieved before the disconnection remain in the Company’s warehouse as a dated record of what the books reported at the time, retained for accounting and audit purposes as described in the Privacy Policy.
To request deletion of retrieved data
Email [email protected] naming the company file. Note that records required to be retained for accounting, tax, or audit purposes may not be eligible for deletion.
How to disconnect
If you have not disconnected yet and want to, do it from inside QuickBooks Online rather than here — that is the authoritative place the permission lives:
- Sign in to QuickBooks Online as a user with administrator rights to the company file.
- Open Settings, then Apps (or visit the Intuit App Center and open My Apps).
- Find the Elie connection and choose Disconnect.
Reconnecting
A disconnected company file can be connected again at any time. Authorization needs to be granted afresh by a user with rights to that file. See Connect or reconnect.
